    Dental Checkup Camp

Dental Checkup Camp March 11, 2011

An amazing small team of Dental Surgeons and their assistants from Nairobi visited Philemon Memorial Academy in Kochia and setup a successful Dental camp for the school scholars at no charge to the school. This Dental camp was primarily sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive and other private donors.

Most of the school scholars were excited to see the dental team and they gave them a hearty welcome during assembly. Initially, it seemed that with only a team of four, the scholars numbering above a hundred would overwhelm them but that did not turn out to be the case. They in fact made it look so easy. They donated their time because of their vision of ensuring the Kenyan community’s children have access to high-quality pediatric care for generations to come.

We applaud them for their service and skill.
